Hurricane Sandy hit the coastline on Cape Cod with tremendous ferocity. The waves continued to surge for days afterwards. I needed to capture that writihing energy. The wave paintings feel reminiscent of Japanese art; minimal information of color and form, with tremendous focus on the essence of the wave.
