I was painting from a model for this piece. In the light the wall became almost opalescent and her blue kimono accentuated her grace. This piece feels very Classical to me. Unlike most of my pieces, this painting did not have any mysterious or hidden meaning. I was focusing upon the model’s grace and beauty. She was radiant in the morning light.
