The inspiration for "Asteroid Man" came from a night standing at the ocean at around 2:00AM, my husband and I searching the sky for asteroids (which were to have been streaking the sky that night). Alas, no asteroids, but our flashlight was useful in making ghoulish faces. This one segued into a painting reminiscent of Japanese prints.
